"Is any one of you in trouble? He should pray. Is anyone happy? Let him sing songs of praise. And prayer offered in faith will make the sick person well; the Lord will raise him up. If he has sinned, he will be forgiven. Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed" (James 5:13,16)
"And the prayer offered in faith will make the sick person well; the Lord will raise him up. If he has sinned, he will be forgiven" (James 5:15).
Prayer is one of the deepest, most intimate acts of worship where we communicate to God through Jesus Christ. Oswald Chambers once said that "prayer is the way that the life of God in us is nourished. Intercession means raising ourselves up to the point of getting the mind of Christ regarding the person whom we are praying. As a saved soul, the real business is intercessory prayer."
At surfersoffaith.com, we would like for you to submit your requests so that people all around can join together in prayer to lift up those needs. Jesus told his disciples that "whatever you ask for in prayer believe that you have received it, and it will be yours" (Mark 11:24). Our Father in heaven loves to hear from His children so let us lift up these needs in Jesus' name as He intercedes for us at the right hand of the Father (Hebrews 7:25).
