Missions, also known as discipling, is an important role that God expects from all His children. Jesus said, "Go into all the world and preach the good news to all creation" (Mark 16:15).
Whether that be in the backyard or deep in the jungles of a third world country, as Christians, God has left it up to us to spread the Gospel and help those who are in need. "And if anyone gives even a cup of cold water to one of these little ones because he is my disciple, I tell you the truth, he will certainly not lose his reward" (Matthew 10:42).
Missions is an exciting, thrilling adventure where one can have fellowship with people from around the world in the name of Jesus Christ. I am convinced that there is no greater joy and nothing more gratifying as a Christian than ministering throughout the world through missions. It will literally change your life, and how you perceive your own.
